The upper is made of NikeSKIN, which consist of 3 separate layers that, together, provide one of the most revolutionising football boots on the market. The innermost layer is a lightweight layer that ensures that your foot sits stable and secure in the boot. On top of this is a thin perforated layer, which provides optimal air circulation, and at last is a super thin layer of microfibre. The surface is very textured, thus providing the friction needed between the Hypervenom and football, hereby improving your ball control. The laces are short and de-centrally placed, resulting in a clean strike area - thus making your strike the same.

All together, the feeling you get from the upper on the Hypervenom, is almost like playing bare feet. You are close to the ball, you have the control, and yet you are still protected by the boot.
